Background
My professional background has never followed a single track. I first spent nearly seven years in private security, beginning as a security officer, then progressing to team leader and finally to assistant management responsibilities. I was assaulted twice while on duty. Those experiences reinforced my attention to procedures, anticipation, responsibility and the very concrete consequences of decisions made in the field.
I later went through a period of political involvement and held responsibilities at departmental level. After the legislative elections, I chose to withdraw from that involvement and declined to stand for Parliament because I did not have the time required to carry such a role seriously. I regard that period as practical experience of political organisation and public action, not as the editorial identity of Delta-Sierra.
I also ran my own computer assistance and repair activity before joining an IT engineering services company, working on infrastructure and security issues. I later moved into B2B field responsibility and business development for companies in construction, timber and installation trades, from structured SMEs to mid-sized companies and major accounts.
In parallel, I followed a fully self-taught path in property, renovation and self-building. I have personally renovated detached houses across many building trades and carried complete construction projects through to completion. Property management, renovation and value creation now provide the main part of my income. Income from my books, Delta-Sierra and YouTube channels remains supplementary and financially minor.
This combination of experiences helps explain the Delta-Sierra method: looking at a subject through texts, numbers, organisation, technology and what it actually produces in the field.
Method: distinguish, source, quantify — then explain
The starting point is simple: separate what is established from what is probable, and what is probable from opinion or foresight. The dossiers rely primarily on public sources, official reports, legal texts, scientific publications and company documents. Calculation assumptions are made explicit and material disagreements remain visible when they exist.
From documents to the field
Field projects impose a discipline different from writing alone: calculate, order, build, correct and live with the practical consequences of decisions. The A-frame house at LA RESSOURCE is one of those projects.
I write the way I build: until the result can be verified.
